Quick Start Guide

Electronic gadgets often come with a Quick Start Guide, also known as, “If you won’t read the instruction manual, at least read this one page, you lazy bum, before you break something.”

SO... one of our riders gave us this great idea: A Quick Start Guide. If you don’t want to read all of this lovely yet annoying web site, here’s the minimum you need to know to have fun on the ride*

When Is the Ride?

You can do one, two, or all three days -- your choice:

Friday August 11th - Optional early arrival day

Saturday August 12th - The main Farm Ride day

Sunday August 13th - The day after -- we offer breakfast, full support services and several lovely routes, plus nearby boating on the Connecticut River.

How Long Is the Ride?

We offer routes from 17 miles - 100 miles.

How Do I Register?

There’s ONLY one way -- click here.

How Much Does it Cost?

Prices for the big ride start at $125. Kids 12 and younger ride free. All the details here.

Where is the Start/Finish Line? How Do I Get There?

All of the rides throughout Farm Ride weekend start and finish in the same place:

North Dorm C (The Deluxe Dorms, where many Farm Ride cyclists stay)

N Residential Drive

University of Massachusetts

Amherst, MA.

North Dorm C is shown on the map below by the red marker.

Whether you're staying in the dorms or just driving in for the day, you can park for free in Lot 44 -- just north of the dorms on the map below.
