Free Hot Tubs

A short bike ride from the UMass campus is Elements Hot • Tub • Spa, where they have several beautiful hot tub rooms --  some outdoors with privacy fencing around them; some indoors.

During Farm RIde Weekend if you would like to head over to Elements for a relaxing soak, I’ll pay for it -- you are my guest.  Just show your Farm Ride wristband and you’re all set. The only thing we don’t cover is any extra spa or massage services, which you are welcome to purchase for yourself if you wish.

We urge you to reserve in advance, before you get to Amherst!  We run out of available slots fast.

HOURS

These are the hours for Elements at this writing:

Friday and Saturday: 11:00 a.m.. - midnight.  

Sunday — 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

(Early mornings by appointment)

We will pay for hot tub use during these hours only:

5 p.m. Friday - 6 p.m. Sunday

Of course this is all subject to availability -- if they have a tub available when you want to go you’re all set, and if they don’t, well, they don’t.

SO... on to everyone’s favorite hot tub topic:

Will people share hot tubs with their fellow Farm Ride cyclists so that everyone can have a chance at the tubs?  Naked or bathing suits?
